I chose chemistry because I want to impact and (drive) change and help create a more sustainable world for future generations.

What are your plans after graduation?

I will be joining Solvay as one of their research scientists in charge of product development. I want to keep working towards my goal of helping create a more sustainable world.

What is your favorite memory of CWRU? 

Afternoon Einstein coffee runs and Friday lunches at Jolly Scholar with my lab mates.

What do you love about chemistry? 

Chemistry is everywhere and there is so much that you can do (in the field). The opportunities are limitless with groundbreaking work continuously being done.

What is your advice for a student starting a graduate or professional program in chemistry? 

1) It’s okay to make mistakes and learn from them.

2) Take a break from time to time.

3) Hard work pays off.
