Welcome Auditors!
The College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University recognizes the importance and appeal of lifelong learning. Indeed, fostering the love of learning is central to our educational mission. The College’s Alumni Audit program is designed for CWRU alumni whose undiminished curiosity about the world leads them on a rich journey of discovery.
The Alumni Audit invites all university alumni to audit undergraduate or graduate courses taught by our distinguished faculty. This is your opportunity to engage with the latest research and scholarship in the arts and humanities, social sciences, mathematics, or natural and physical sciences. As an auditor, you can choose from a wide selection of courses, whether in traditional academic departments or in the College’s interdisciplinary programs. Alumni Audit tuition is 10% of regular tuition.
The Laura and Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program sponsors the Course Audit Program for Senior Citizens that invites Greater Cleveland residents age 65 and older into specified courses across the university for a reduced tuition fee of $40 per credit hour. Please click here for more information. CWRU also offers a special audit for non-degree students below age 65 who wish to take courses outside of the College of Arts and Sciences and/or are not CWRU alumni. Special Audit is offered through the Office of Undergraduate studies and provides the opportunity to audit a course at half regular tuition price. For more information, follow this link or reach out to the Office of Undergraduate Studies at ugstudies@case.edu or call 216.368.2928.
We are delighted to welcome you—or welcome you back—to our vibrant intellectual community. Please call or email if you have questions.
