Homecoming and Reunion Celebration | October 9-12, 2025

The full list of events and registration will be available in late summer. There will also be events designed for the Class of 1975 as they celebrate their 50th reunion. Below is an example of the events held during Homecoming and Reunion 2024.

2024 EVENT SPOTLIGHTS

Dean’s Reception and Reunion Toast – 9:00 – 10:00 AM

The deans of the college raise a class for the class of 1974 and welcome back all reunion years with a mimosa toast and breakfast reception.   

State of the College of Arts and Sciences – 10:00 AM

Interim Dean Peter Whiting shares an update on college priorities, highlights faculty and student successes, and answers your questions.

Presidential Welcome Reception for Class of 1974 – 3:00 – 4:30 PM

Harcourt House

President and Mrs. Kaler welcome graduates from the class of 1974 for a private reception at Harcourt House.

IGNITE: A Celebration of Leadership and Philanthropy – 5:30 PM

Glidden House, Juniper Room

This special evening is our way of thanking our generous supporters and honoring our accomplished alumni. Join Interim Dean Whiting as we celebrate our Distinguished Alumni Award winners and the 50th reunion of the Class of 1974.  

Department of Music Concert – 7:30 PM

Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at Temple–Tifereth Israel, Silver Hall

Celebrate homecoming with a concert featuring university ensembles, including

Symphonic Winds, Case/University Circle Orchestra, Case Camerata Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band and Case Concert Choir.

 

50th Reunion Medallion Ceremony 9 AM

This exclusive event celebrates the graduates of the Class of 1974. 

Dittrick Museum of Medical History Open House – 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Dittrick Medical History Center

View the history of medical instruments and technology while learning about the study of doctor-patient relationships throughout time.

Spartie’s Tailgate – 11:30 PM – 1:30 PM

Students and alumni gather to celebrate and show some Spartan spirit before the 1:30 kickoff for the Homecoming football game! 

Student-Led Tour of the Cleveland Museum of Art – 3:00 PM

Cleveland Museum of Art

Graduate students from the Department of Art History lead tours that highlight their favorite pieces in the museum and showcase their expertise.
